VOCOM = Vehicle offboard communicator is a vehicle communication interface.

VCI = Vehicle communication unit is the hardware to translate vehicle language to computer language and vice-versa.

CLUP = Client update is where you see the available updates for various drivers and applications.

VODIA™ = Volvo diagnostics is a tool for diagnosis and service by Volvo Penta.

ECTA = It is a military grade connector with push-pull locking system by Amphenol.

Access Point = It is a device that creates a wireless local area network, or WLAN. An access point connects to a wired router, switch, or hub via an Ethernet cable, and projects a Wi-Fi signal to a designated area. VOCOM II device creates its own Wi-Fi network and the Tech Tool computer is connected to this network.

Wi-Fi Direct = It is a Wi-Fi standard enabling devices to directly connect to the network.
