Reset configuration

A reset can be performed by:
- Having the VOCOM II connected over USB.
- Having the VOCOM II connected over Wi-Fi and paired.
- Pressing and holding the physical reset button on the VOCOM II device itself.
Note: When a VOCOM is reset, all the configuration settings and user login credentials will be erased from the device.

A VOCOM II device can be paired with only one computer at a time.
In order to pair the device with a different computer, the VOCOM II device has to be reset prior.
After performing a reset, the current pairing will be lost.

Connect the VOCOM II device to a vehicle and make sure that the device is powered. For more information, see VOCOM II Tough indicator lights or VOCOM II Mini indicator lights.
Press and hold the top button of the device.

– For VOCOM II Mini, you will first hear 3 short beeps (meaning the device is in Wi-Fi Direct mode) and then a loud and long beep sound. So, it is important to keep the reset button pressed until you hear the long and loud single beep.
– For VOCOM II Tough, press and hold the top button for about 10 seconds (You will not hear any sounds).
Let go of the top button.
The device will now restart with the default configuration applied.
